Set Wiki Home Page in Site Settings
SharePoint Foundation 2010 has a feature you can turn on to make the front page a wiki page. The default on Team Sites and Blank sites is a web part page.
Set Master Page in SharePoint Foundation 2010
You can set the Master Page of a SharePoint Foundation 2010 site through SharePoint Designer. With SharePoint Server 2010, you can set it there or through the site settings and you can also apply the master page to all subsites.
