Announcing 2009 Speakers for the San Antonio SharePoint User Group

The San Antonio SharePoint User Group has a list of speakers planned through July, but high quality speakers are always welcome to join us! Blogs and Wikis becoming more recognized in business

I’m a big fan of blogs and wikis, tools built into Microsoft SharePoint. I recently found two great examples and a new White Paper that I’d like to share. Liz Elizondo, a San Antonio SharePoint User Group Member shares a great example of SharePoint wiki use from her experience. Silverlight Blueprint for SharePoint – Webcasts

Silverlight enables rich integration with SharePoint through web service hooks. And, Patrick Tisseghem made some great Screencasts before he passed. I heard his voice while watching a couple of the Silverlight Blueprint for SharePoint webcasts from the Aug 19 2008 release. It was bittersweet.
